KeepNinja

KeepNinja Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 Oct 2026

Summary

KeepNinja reads your media files only on your device. It never uploads, copies or shares them, and we never see them. The free version can show optional video ads from Google, which receives device information to show and measure the ads. To check whether you have KeepNinja Plus, the app uses a payment service that knows you only by a random ID made on your device. The app also asks Google Play for your age group, because the law in some places requires it, and changes nothing based on it, as described in Age check. This website counts visits without cookies, as described in This website.

Who we are

KeepNinja is made by SingularityPoints (“we”), registered in Serbia as Djordje Stanojlovic PR SingularityPoints: Matije Korvina 17, 24000 Subotica, registration number 68826829, tax number (PIB) 116014191. We decide how the app and this website handle information and are responsible for this policy.

Questions about privacy: support@keepninja.com

What stays on your device

Your media files and everything the app learns about them stay on your device. We have no server that receives them.

  • Your media files. The app reads them to find duplicates, similar shots, large files and old files. It does not upload, copy or send them anywhere.
  • What the app saves. In its private storage on your device, the app saves your settings, scan results, small fingerprints of your pictures (numbers that describe how a picture looks, used to find duplicates and similar shots), your marks, the rewards you collected, and a record of the media files you deleted for Freed so far (their name, size, type and dates, and the category you deleted them from).
  • Who can read it. Only KeepNinja. Other apps cannot, and neither can we.
  • How to remove it. Uninstall the app. On Android, you can also clear the app’s data in your device’s settings. Start fresh in the app’s Settings forgets your review choices and scans again.
  • Device backups. If your device backs up app data to your Google account or to iCloud, this saved data may be part of that backup. It stays in your own account.

What leaves your device

Only the information in this table leaves your device. It never includes your media files or anything about them. KeepNinja has no analytics and no crash reporting, and it does not ask you to create an account.

Service When it is used What it receives Its privacy policy
Google AdMob (video ads) Free version only, while videos are offered Device information such as the advertising ID (where your device allows it), IP address (from which Google can tell your general location) and device model, how you interact with the ad, how well the app and the ad run on your device, and your ad privacy choices Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps
RevenueCat (purchase check) When the app checks or restores KeepNinja Plus A random ID made on your device, your KeepNinja Plus purchases and their dates, and your IP address. No name, email or device identifiers. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Google Play or the App Store (payments) When you buy KeepNinja Plus Google or Apple handles the payment under your Google account or Apple Account. We never see your card or payment details. Google Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy
Google Play or the App Store (rating the app) Sometimes after you tap Delete forever, when the app opens the store’s rating window. You can close it without rating. Your rating and any review you write. Google or Apple receives them under your Google account or Apple Account, and a review is public in the store. Google Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy

We use this information only to show the optional videos, to give you KeepNinja Plus if you bought it, to check when your pass ends, to count sales of KeepNinja Plus, and to read your review if you write one. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else.

Google Play and the App Store also give us general statistics, such as installs, uninstalls and crash reports from people who allow this in their device’s settings. Google and Apple collect these, not KeepNinja, and they never include your media files.

Permissions

The app uses each permission only for the purpose below. You can change them at any time in your device’s settings.

  • Media files: to find duplicates, similar shots, large and old files, and to show them. If you allow only some photos and videos, the app works with only those.
  • Storage on older Android devices: on Android 11 and 12 the same access is called storage. There it is also needed to move files into folders.
  • Internet: only for the services in the table above.
  • Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob for the video ads in the free version, where your device allows it.

Your device asks you to confirm before the app deletes media files. On Android, it also asks before the app moves files into folders.

Age check

After the first scan, the app asks Google Play once per start for your age group, because the law in some places requires it. Google Play may first ask you whether to share it. The app changes nothing based on the answer, keeps it only while the app is open, and never saves or sends it. If you or a parent choose not to share, the app remembers only that choice, so the question does not come back.

This website

This section is about keepninja.com. Nothing on the website connects your visits to the app or to your purchases.

  • Hosting. Microsoft Azure hosts the website. Like every website, it receives your IP address to send you the pages.
  • Visit counts. To know how many people visit and which pages help them, each page you open sends one page view to Microsoft Azure Application Insights. It holds the page’s address, the website you came from (only its name, such as google.com), your browser and operating system (such as Chrome on Android), whether your screen is phone, tablet or computer size, and the time. Azure uses your IP address to find your country and city, and then deletes the address.
  • No cookies. The website uses no cookies and gives you no ID. It cannot recognize you on a later visit or follow you on other websites. If you switch between the light and dark look, your browser keeps that choice until you close the tab.
  • Where and how long. Microsoft keeps the page views for us in Germany for 90 days, and then deletes them. Microsoft Privacy Statement
  • Turning it off. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the website sends no page views. Privacy blockers also stop them.

We use the page views only to improve the website. We do not sell them or share them with anyone else.

Your choices and rights

  • Ads. Video ads play only when you choose to watch one. Where the law requires it, Google asks for your consent before any ad loads. You can change your choice in the app’s Settings, under Ad privacy choices. You can also limit the use of your advertising ID in your device’s settings. To report an ad that is not appropriate, tap Report this ad after the video: it opens your email app with a message to us that names the day and time the ad was shown. The app itself sends nothing.
  • No videos at all. With KeepNinja Plus, the app does not use the ad service.
  • Application data on your device. You can delete it at any time, as described in What stays on your device.
  • Your rights. Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete personal information about you, object to its use, or complain to a data protection authority. Where to ask:
    • Ad information: Google, through the links in the table above.
    • KeepNinja Plus purchases: us, at support@keepninja.com. Include the order number from your Google Play or App Store receipt. We can tell you what RevenueCat holds about the purchase, or delete it. After a deletion, tap Already purchased? on the KeepNinja Plus page to get Plus back.
    • Emails you sent us: us, at the same address. We use your emails only to answer you.
    • Website visits: the page views hold no IP address and no ID, so nobody, including us, can find your visits in them.
  • Legal basis (EU and UK). Purchase checks are needed to provide what you bought. Ads are based on your consent where the law requires it. Website page views are based on our legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used. To object, turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser, as described in This website.

Children

KeepNinja is not made for children under 13. The Age check stays on your device and changes nothing in the app, so we cannot know if a child uses it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we publish the new version on this page with a new date. If a change affects what leaves your device, the app tells you before it applies.
