Free version and KeepNinja Plus
The free version has every feature of the app, and we recommend starting with it.
What is free
- Every category and every feature, including Compare and Move.
- Marking files of any age, and checking them in Marked for removal.
- Deleting and moving files up to 6 months old.
The 6 months count back from today, so your newest files are always free to delete and move. If you do a full cleanup at least once every 6 months, the free version is enough.
Older files: the Cleanup calendar
To delete or move files older than 6 months, unlock their days in the Cleanup calendar. It opens from its card on the home screen.
-
Watch a video, earn a reward. Each optional short video you watch to the end earns 1 reward. You can watch up to 6 videos a day, at least 1 hour apart.
-
Each reward unlocks 10 days with files. Rewards are never spent on days without files. A reward unlocks 10 days with files in a row, placed where they free the most files marked for removal.
-
Whole months and years. You can also unlock all days of a month or a year at once, with Unlock month and Unlock year. A month has at most 31 days, so it never needs more than 4 rewards.
-
Unlocked days stay unlocked. You can delete and move their files at any time later.
-
3 rewards to start. You get 3 rewards when you start, so you can try the Cleanup calendar before you watch any video.
Example: you have files on 8 days in May and on 12 days in June. 2 rewards unlock both months.
How far videos take you
If your device has files on every second day:
- 1 video: 10 days with files, about 3 weeks of your gallery
- 6 videos in 1 day: 60 days with files, about 4 months
- 6 videos a day for 1 week: up to 420 days with files, more than 2 years
- 6 videos a day for 1 month: up to 1,800 days with files, almost 10 years of your gallery
When some files are from locked days
When some of the files are from locked days, Delete forever and Move ask first. You can continue without those files, or continue with all the files when you have enough rewards. Marked files that are not deleted stay marked.
Our advice: start with the free version
Review and mark first. Then watch short videos to unlock the older months where you marked files. Give it a try and see how fast you can get everything KeepNinja Plus offers, for free.
Choose KeepNinja Plus if you have no time for videos and want to finish your cleanup now.
KeepNinja Plus
With KeepNinja Plus, you can delete or move everything KeepNinja finds, whatever its age, and there are no videos. Nothing renews by itself. Buy it in the app: ☰ > KeepNinja Plus.
To get more time while you have a pass, tap Add 1 month or Add 1 year. The added time starts when your pass ends.
KeepNinja shows the price in your currency before you buy.
When your pass ends
KeepNinja tells you once when your pass has ended. Then the free version applies again: deleting and moving files up to 6 months old is free, and older files need rewards or KeepNinja Plus. Days you unlocked with rewards stay unlocked.
Bought it before?
If you bought KeepNinja Plus before with the same store account, tap Already purchased? on the KeepNinja Plus page to get it back. This also works on a new device.
